    PRACTICE TIPS

Parents - PLEASE DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILD OFF MORE THAN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR PRACTICE! We have set the practice times so we do not conflict with coaches schedules! Example: If you practice is at 6pm - no earlier than 5:45!  Thank you!

PLEASE LEAVE ALL WET/MUDDY BOOTS OR SHOES IN THE HALLWAY BEFORE YOU ENTER THE WRESTLING MATS. Again – NO STREET SHOES on the mats!! Wrestling shoes or a second clean pair of tennis shoes should be carried into practice – do not wear your wrestling shoes outside. This room has no bleachers and space is limited. Wrestlers are asked not to bring brothers, sisters, or friend to practice unless accompanied by a responsible adult.  New and used shoes and singlets will be sold at practice.  For practice, please wear a t-shirt with your name on it if it is possible and short or sweatpants. Please make sure all fingernails are clipped and please shower every night after practice.

    WELCOME! PLEASE READ!

    Welcome to the 2024 season!
The Sidney Wrestling Club operates with COOPERATION AND HARD WORK from parents, wrestlers, coaches, and anyone else willing to put in the extra hours on working on committees and details.  Without all of these volunteers our program would not be successful.
Registration Fees MUST BE PAID before a wrestler or coach is allowed on the mat - no exceptions. The fees go towards paying tournament fees. Sorry, NO REFUNDS under any circumstance. Each family will be required to help with fundraising each year.  We will be selling raffle tickets during the season.  Each family must sell a minimum of 20 tickets. We also ask for help at our fall wrestling raffle in the off-season.   This helps us keep our fees low.
